In the STEM studio we have been exploring a rice experience. The children use this play to investigate, imagine and explore. They also learn pouring skills, volume, and measurements, while building relationships between peers. The children used the rice for symbolic representation to act as tea and coffee in the measuring cups.

Over the week the children in the nest have been doing some yoga with Miss Ashlen. The children were learning to point their toes and follow simple instructions. Ashlen then used the yoga dice which the children enjoyed throwing and rolling while turn taking.
