One of our friends brought some silk worms to show us for news. We were all very interested and excited to learn more so Shelley got some for us to keep as pets. We learned that silk worms are very easy to look after as they only eat Mulberry leaves.
We made a home for them using an old box and we keep them out of the sunlight. Each day we look at how they are growing and how much they really eat! We made our own silk worm pictures using egg cartons, white paint and tissue; they look fantastic.
Our silk worms now have their own area that lets us look at them anytime we want throughout the day!
