This week at Ashby, we have been getting into the Christmas spirit!
The children have been exploring Christmas activities in the lovely outdoor weather.
Educator Kara supported the children as they investigated the star ice blocks, these ice blocks were full of coloured pom poms.Â
The children confidently engaged in this experience using their senses, as they put the ice blocks into their mouths.
Other children held the ice blocks in their hands and watched as it melted, dripping off their hands.
The pom poms began to fall out of the ice blocks and the children’s eyes lit up, they were very intrigued and excited.
