Sonas Wattle Grove – ‘Maisy Goes To The Hospital’

During story time the children chose the book Maisy goes to hospital and discovered that we also had the same hospital bags (first aid kits) here at Sonas. 

The educators got out our first aid kit and we spoke about what a few of the things were for. What could we use tweezers for? What is an eye wash? What could we use a triangle bandage for? 

Educators showed the children how to tie a triangle bandage and a few of us ended up with some pretend broken arms.

To extend on this learning the children have assisted us with restocking our first aid kit to ensure we have everything we need in case of an injury or emergency.
