FN6: SPK This week, the children explored their fine motor skills as they manipulated play dough to make their names.

The children demonstrated creativity and literacy skills during the experience. Some peers spelled out their names, while others pointed and identified individual letters.

Analysis of learning: The children were focused, and as they concentrated to roll out and create letters, they also showed their caring personalities as they helped each other to achieve the goal.

It also allowed educators to understand each child’s individual familiarity with letter forms.
