Sonas Ashby – Safari Shape Hunt 

This morning, the children went on a safari shape hunt!

With our cameras in hand, we searched through the lens to see what different shapes we could find. Once we spotted a shape in the jungle, we found the matching shape card and placed it on the picture.

We worked together to identify and match all of the shapes. We also discussed the different colours and animals that we could see in the jungle.

Evaluation: The children returned to complete this activity multiple times. They came up with different ways to complete the task, like in teams or trying to match the shapes as fast as they could!
