This morning, we made a bug-exploring tough tray with lots to explore with our magnifying glasses and some blue-dyed water.
The children develop language development: lots of discussion around the tray and bugs/animals.
Cognitive Development: learning about the different animals and bugs, using our magnifying glasses to see things differently.
The children loved looking at all the bugs and animals through the magnifying glass. We spoke about where they live, the description of what they look like, what they eat, and what eats them. So many conversations with each other, discovering the world they live in.
