Sonas Baldivis North – Encouraging Movement Outside with the Nest Children 

Objective: Today in the nest we decided that following on from last week’s activity about encouraging standing with furniture outside, we would encourage movement outside.

We took the three babies that were awake and ventured outside. We first went to the wooden steps to encourage safe sitting to standing and standing to sitting then went into the small sandpit to play with some sand equipment and practice crawling on a wavy surface.
