Last week our younger children explored their fine motor skills, repurposing red recycled pouch lids and paper towel rolls as part of our Anzac Day explorations.
To begin the educator showed the children red poppy flowers explaining that they are special flowers for Anzac Day.
The children watched as the educator demonstrated placing one of the recycled pouch lids into the top of the cardboard tube which had been taped to the glass door.
The children then eagerly copied, taking turns to place their “poppy” into the cardboard tubes as they wished.
