This week in our STEM studio we have been focusing on numbers, counting and the relationship between various numbers and quantities.
Some experiences we have participated in to build our cognitive skills are, collecting items from around the centre, counting and grouping them, tracing various numbers into coloured sand trays, matching quantities of counters to number cards and attaching pegs to the matching number disc.
Throughout the week we were also able to identify numbers within our other studios, with the children celebrating their achievements.
