This week we went on a little adventure collecting all the leaves that have fallen onto the footpath in our yard.
By doing this we are cleaning up our yard and recycling those materials by incorporating them into our experiences.
The children made abstract nature moulds with natural resources after picking up all the leaves and sticks of the pathways in our yard.
In the following weeks to come we are going to paint our abstract nature moulds with any colour we would like.
Autumn leaves, they flutter,
As they fall to the ground.
They whirl, they twirl, they dance,
But they do not make a sound.
Quiet, o-so-quiet,
They whisper on their way,
Landing in a pile
In which we can all play.
