Ribbons ribbons everywhere. That has been our favourite activity this week.
All the children have been wanting to dance around to music and twirl their ribbons. When the educators bought them outside the children asked for their favourite colour.
Once they had their ribbons, the children would run and twirl around the yard making it a magical sea of colours. Some children exclaimed that it looked like a rainbow as the ribbons were waved about. Others thought that it was just a wonderful sight and laid down looking at the colours floating past them.
The children amazed the educators with their movements and clapped as the children twirled them around each other laughing as they got caught in their friends’ ribbons.
This experience was loved by children of all ages and just allowed them to show off their wonderful moves, share laugh and just have fun with friends.
