This week the children have been learning all about one-to-one correspondence, relationships between numbers and quantity.
Using the Lego blocks we have been counting 1 to 6 by placing them on a paper plate which has the numbers, numbered on them.
Numeracy is the ability to recognise and use maths concepts in all areas of everyday life. Activities such as counting, looking at shapes and talking about sizes can help children develop early numeracy and math skills.
