Recently staff at Sonas undertook child protection training to better educate themselves and the children we care for (Holly Ann – safe for kids, https://safe4kids.com.au ).

This week our educators introduced a song called ‘Pantosaurus and his pant’ where it teachers’ children all about the word ‘NO’, why we use it and what it means.

We also spoke about ‘My Safety Team’ where the children got to pick 5 adults that they felt would listen, believe, were available and they could act if necessary.

Child Protection activities will now be a weekly feature on our programs at Bayswater Sonas.

“These are adults I trust, If I get my Early Warning Signs and I feel unsafe, I can talk with them.”
