The children were engaged in an experience of learning the sounds and names of different animals.

The children were excited to play with the wooden boat, along with some animals on the table. As more friends began exploring the animal figurines and the sounds, the educators told a story of all these animals moving to the town in a boat across the river.

We encourage the children to use their verbal language by saying the animal’s name and then repeating or making the sound that animal made. Each child waited patiently and took turns moving the animals across the table.

The children’s learning enhanced their social, fine motor, cognitive, and language skills during the experience.
