We set up the big sensory tray and with 3 smaller mixing trays and we presented the children with containers that had:
- Red, blue, and yellow water
- Oil
- Ice blocks
- A sheet of thin ice
- Corn flour
We then invited the children to explore mixing all the different ingredients together to see what happens.
We discussed how the corn flour and water made a gloopy substance and how the ice melted as we handled it.
