During the Bunuru season (the Noongar season of hot, dry weather), the children enjoyed an excursion to Bunnings Warehouse to learn about planting and gardening. 🌱
The children explored the garden section, observing different plants, seedlings, soil, and gardening tools. They talked about what plants need to grow, such as sunlight, soil, water, and care.
The children then chose some seedlings and gardening supplies to bring back to the service while discussing how people grow herbs, flowers, and vegetables and how gardening helps care for our environment. 🌿
