At Sonas Huntingdale we have begun to commence the celebration of  Chinese New Year. This year is the year of the Rabbit.

The children have commenced making lanterns to symbolise a new moon, new beginnings as well as be involved in the making of traditional dumplings and spring rolls which are customary to the celebrations.

During this period, people exchange red envelopes to bring good luck and positivity.

The children have been engaged in experiences that will give them a perspective of another culture within our community and increase their awareness of others and their way of life.
