Who would have thought learning can happen with any toy?

This week we have been working together on our counting, lining each car and monster truck up in a straight line to count how many we have. We created on a donated piece of card from one of our parents our very own car and monster truck track! Wow, this was endless fun.

We used our pens to draw and create our own houses around the track, we could park our cars and trucks up at. We used loose parts, using our imagination to create tunnels and ramps for the monster trucks.

We also got to borrow Hannah’s son’s monster truck track to shoot our cars and monster trucks to see how far we could get our cars across the track. It was a little tricky because we had to use our finger muscles to pull the trigger back so we could press the button for the monster trucks and cars to go flying! But we worked together as a team, taking turns, sharing, and learning together how the track works. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!
