This week, the children at Sonas Karrinyup have been learning all about animals and their habitats.
Together, the children gathered soil, leaves, wood chips, and sticks to create a jungle and a farm. The children explored different animal sounds, the different foods they eat, and where they live.
Analysis of learning: strengthening fine motor and gross motor skills, expanding vocabulary, building knowledge of the environments around them, and showing respect for living and non-living things.
