We explored foam with animals; this messy tray experience was initiated when a child asked if we could wash our animals. We added some colour to the foam to ensure it created curiosity.
We used smaller containers for scooping to allow the children to work on their fine motor skills as they poured the soapy water over the animals.
The children continue to develop a sense of responsibility during experiences as we learn how to take care of our environments.
