Fe Fi Fo Fum……..
Look out Giant, here we come.

Following on from listening to the story of Jack and The Beanstalk, the children planted some vegetables in our garden beds. These included climbing beans, carrots and sunflower seeds.

We turned and watered the soil, preparing it for a good solid vegetation before carefully placing our seeds in the soil and giving them a good watering.

We watched daily, checking for any changes, but nothing appeared to be happening. Did we need to water the garden more? Was there not enough sun to help the seeds grow? Maybe the garden just needed more love and care from us all.

Then… all of a sudden, they appeared! Oh, my we have beans, “we have magic beans.” I wonder if these beans will climb to the clouds and to the home of the Giant.
