As an extension, we are discovering our own unique fingerprints. Did you know our fingerprints are made of several layers of twisted skin that formed before we were born?
The raised skin patterns on our fingertips and palms are what allow us to hold onto things. Through this sensory exploration, we were able to identify the three main patterns of ridges: loops, whorls, and arches.
