The children participated in a follow up experience of cleaning up our yard as we had just finished up our incursion about recycling and sustainability.
Once the children finished the show we then moved into our STEAM studio where the children were discussing their favourite parts of the show, Educator Tiana had found some left over Woolworths bags so as a group we decided that we would place on our gloves, grab our bags and explore our environment to tidy up our space.
Exploring through our yard the children found bits and pieces of paper and rubbish where they then placed it into their bags and took back to the STEAM studio.
Within the STEAM studio we then took all of our findings and sorted through it where we identified if it belongs in our yellow bin or our green bin.
