This week our friends in the Baby room have been enjoying the warm weather by keeping cool with some water play. The educator set up the black tuff tray with loose part materials such as honky nuts, jars, buckets, cups, jugs and with some bottle lids.
Our friends were able to explore the environment while working alongside each other, ensuring all our friends were given an opportunity to participate.
We saw lots of fine motor/hand eye coordination as our babies were able to hold the jug up and keep it still when transferring the water into the other containers provided.
We loved watching the babies try and match the jars to the correct lids and even try to fill all the jars up with all the different resources available to them.
