How the conversation started: “We made a rainbow with chalk on the road”
As we discussed more, we discovered many of our Wattle Grove families are brightening up their isolation by creating RAINBOWS in their driveways, their windows and mailboxes, the streets are alive with colour.

Hmmmm how can daycare get involved……… by building a RAINBOW as well.
Using boxes and paint we created a recyclable rainbow for the children to build together and if their viewpoints vary we can deconstruct it and build it again. This experience allowed us to share in this initiative with our community at a time when we are all practicing social distancing and can’t be together physically.
Earlier this week our Kindy children also depicted RAINBOWS in art that are now displayed on our fences for other children to find or see from home.
