This week at Sonas Wattle Grove, as the children walked back to the centre from school, they crossed the bridge over the nearby stream. As the children walked across, they investigated the deep water below to see what they could spot.

As the sun shone on the water, little black lines could be seen swimming around. One of the children asked what it could be, when another replied that it was a tadpole, and that they were baby frogs. This got the children asking lots of questions about frogs and their lifecycle.

After a while, the children waved goodbye to the tadpoles and finished walking back to the centre, where they told all their friends about what they had seen.
