Our children at Sonas Woodbridge were particularly interested in the Construction team busy working on our roads.

What are they doing? Posed the children to which the Educator responded, “I wonder?” With that the children provided a host of inferences such as.

“they are building a train track.”
“cleaning the road.”
“stopping people.”

In discussion the Educator explained the purpose for the construction. After the conversation, the children said, “I want to build roads then,” and then immediately started roleplaying.

Furthermore, children were very excited when they got the attention of the Construction team and they happily posed for a little photoshoot. In addition, they thank them for keeping our roads safe and in good working order.
