These terms govern your use of the website operated by Sonas Early Learning & Care (“Sonas”, “we”, “us”, “our”) at sonaschildcare.com.au and sonaschildcare.com (the Website). By using the Website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
These Website Terms of Use are separate from any contract you enter into with us when you enrol a child at one of our centres. Enrolment is governed by our Enrolment Agreement and Family Handbook, which take precedence over these terms in matters relating to the provision of childcare services.
1. Use of the Website
You may use the Website for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes — including learning about our centres, browsing articles, booking tours, completing enquiry or enrolment forms, and using the Child Care Subsidy calculator. You agree not to:
- Use the Website in any way that breaches Australian law or that infringes the rights of any other person;
- Interfere with the Website’s normal operation, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or transmit malicious code;
- Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract content from the Website for republication or commercial use;
- Submit false, misleading, or misappropriated personal information through any form on the Website;
- Use the Website to impersonate another person or to harass, abuse, or harm others.
2. The Child Care Subsidy calculator
The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) calculator on the Website is provided as a general estimation tool. It uses published Services Australia rules and rates (FY 2025–26, including the 3 Day Guarantee from 5 January 2026) to give you an indicative figure. The calculator does not determine your actual entitlement.
Your actual Child Care Subsidy is determined by Services Australia based on your reported income, recognised participation, residency, and your child’s immunisation status, among other factors. For an official figure, use the Australian Government Child Care Subsidy calculator and apply through your myGov account at servicesaustralia.gov.au.
We make no representation that the figures shown will match your actual subsidy or out-of-pocket costs. Centre fees may change from time to time; the calculator reflects the rates current at the time of your visit. You should not rely on the calculator’s output for financial planning without verifying the figures with Services Australia.
3. Centre fees and information
Fee information shown on the Website is the rate current as at the date of last update and may change with notice in line with our Enrolment Agreement and Family Handbook. Service descriptions, programs, opening hours, and centre availability are indicative and subject to change. Where a centre is described as “coming soon”, opening dates are estimates and not contractual commitments. Please contact the centre directly to confirm current details before making decisions based on the Website.
4. Intellectual property
All content on the Website — including text, photographs, illustrations, branding, the Sonas name and logos, video, and the source code of the Website — is owned by or licensed to Sonas and is protected by Australian and international copyright and trade mark laws. You may view and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit any part of the Website without our prior written permission.
5. User-submitted content
If you submit a review, comment, photograph, or any other material to us through the Website (or via our social media channels linked from the Website), you grant Sonas a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, and publish that material in connection with our centres and services. You confirm that you own or have permission to share the material, and that it does not breach any law or any other person’s rights. We may decline to publish, or remove, any material at our discretion.

Our total liability for any claim arising in connection with the Website is limited, at our option, to re-supplying the relevant service or paying the cost of having it re-supplied.

11. Governing law
