We have begun our very exciting library visits every Friday in the Kindy room, taking turns each week to go on the bus to Forrestfield Library.
It was so much fun going on the excursion. Before we left there was a chat on the mat to talk about what we were doing and how to stay safe. We all got a yellow wristband with Sonas on it and we were ready to go. We got onto the bus and into the seats. We sang some songs on the way but it is a very quick drive to Forrestfield library.
When we got there, we sang lots of songs with the librarian and did some fun dancing moves.
Next, she told us some stories and we listened very well.
We spent some time after the story session reading some books with Sophie and Belinda and we were even able to bring some back to the centre to read together.
We cannot wait for our next visit to the library.
