The children asked if we could make a volcano this week and so they gathered in the sandpit to build a volcano from the sand leaving a hole in the centre.
They then took turns to add the bicarb soda and vinegar to watch the reaction, we talked about volcanoes and how they are as old as dinosaurs which steered our conversations to a prehistoric time.
