The children at Sonas Bayswater have been engaging in water science experiment.
Before we started the experiment, we discussed what we thought would happen to the paper towel. The children scrunched up a piece of paper towel, put it in a cup then together we pushed the upside-down cup into the water and pulled it out again, the children identified if the paper towel was wet or dry. The children enjoyed the activity and kept repeating it.
Objectives: children develop s range of skills and processes such as problem solving, inquiry, experimentation hypothesising, researching and investigating, children experience the benefits of a shared learning experience and children interact verbally and non-verbally to what they see, hear, touch, feel and taste.
