Sonas Huntingdale – Can We Blow Up This Balloon Without Using Our Mouths? 

This week we tried an experiment where we used the gas from mixing vinegar and bicarb together to try and blow up a balloon.

We tried this experiment twice and managed to get the balloon blown up a little, but we did not realise just how much ingredients we were going to need to make the balloon as big as we wanted.

Many of the experiments we conduct at the centre are trial and error, but we have a wonderful time guessing what will happen and then scouring over the results together.
