Our lovely educator Rowena is currently working towards achieving her Cert III in Early Childhood education &Care. Rowena is a very respected and valued educator here at Sonas.
Here is just one example of how Rowena delivered The Very Hungry Caterpillar to all of the children. The children listened to the story, and then using picture cards that they had created, retold the story to one another and posted what the caterpillar had eaten into its mouth.
This also brought about discussion of what foods we should put into in our bodies to make sure we are healthy and strong. The children investigated the life cycle of a caterpillar to support the story. Fantastic work Rowena, your are so passionate about what you do.
