With an abundance of experiences, we were able to provide the children with some history and knowledge of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples culture, achievements and the land.
The children were introduced to foods, traditional dance, music and the arts. The children attempted their own corroboree as they were fascinated about the meaning behind these dances.
This provided the children with a great insight into the Dreamtime. This was then reflected through playdough stories, sand storytelling, instrument making and costume.
