We looked at what our community looks like around us.
A small group of peers talked about what we know was around us and then we decided to make a shopping list with our cook with things we needed for lunch and afternoon tea.
As we safely held hands while walking the children identified the crossing sign on the road and said “over there that’s where we cross” demonstrating safety.
We then decided to go to the Local Ashby coffee shop where we ordered baby chinos. The children demonstrated their respect by gracefully thanking the lady for the baby chino’s, we discussed our shopping list and then off we went.
The children identified the items on the list and recognised some items they have at home as well. We then paid and walked safely and slowly back to the centre.
