This afternoon, the older children assisted me with “Kids in the Kitchen.”

Today on the menu was “cheese scones.”

We started with thoroughly washing our hands.

The children then assisted me in pouring the weighed-out ingredients into the bowl.

We combined it together and then separated it into smaller portions for everyone.

Each child used a cup to roll out the dough and cut it into circular shapes, placing them on the baking tray ready for the oven.

We placed them in a 180-degree oven for 10–14 minutes.
