Objective: Child measures objects by various attributes using standard and non standard measurements. Uses differences in attributes to make comparisons.
This morning children engaged in water play.
Grasping and sharing different sized containers to scoop the water up and fill another container.
Children communicated amongst one another, asking for containers, using their imagination to create their own play whilst engaging in water play.
As a group we selected the biggest container to fill using a small cup, counting how many scoops of water from the little cup, fit into the bigger one.
