Objective: Child maintains focus and sustains attention.
Today in our Sonas Pre-Kindy program, we focused on shapes.
We started with a mat session about the different shapes and recognising and naming them.
We then set out to engage in our activity following the mat session, where we used blocks to fill in the shapes. We all took turns filling in the different shapes and discussing what shapes there were.
Children assisted one another in small groups, taking turns and asking for assistance from educators if needed.
