Sonas Atwell – St Patrick’s Day

St Patrick’s Day is celebrated on the 17th of March world wide, recognise the Irish culture. 

This morning with Holly the children sat for a mat session speaking about St Patrick’s day and why we recognise/celebrate it, talking about who St Patrick is and what he looks like, colour recognition of the Irish flag, listening to Irish music..

I create a sensory tray with green and gold colours for the nest children to engage with, using their fine motor skills.

Sensory bags with paint and water filled with shamrocks for the children to move about and investigate.
