Using paint to decorate some of the boxes from the loose parts area in S.T.E.M., the children were encouraged to come and paint the boxed for us to later stick together and create a town for the train tracks.
During this experience the children engaged in conversations about the colours they were using and how when they mixed them together the colours were changing. The colours on the tray were red, blue and yellow (primary colours) .
