The children took the time to enjoy some free drawing, during this experience the children explored their fine motor skills by holding and manipulating the crayons when moving them around the paper.

Picking up a crayon and placing it in a certain spot on the paper builds hand eye coordination. As hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills develop, the children will gain control, and their artwork will blossom.

Educators discussed openly with children about what they were doing and what they were achieving with their crayons, they discussed colours and texture through out their time during this experience.
