We hide small items in a sand tray, the children had to then feel around and find the items.
As each child found an item I asked what it is and what colour it is, the children then thought about it and told us what they found.
All the children named the items and the colours. This is a fun and different way to play hide and seek apart from us hiding.
The children had a lot of focus and interest in this thinking and doing (cognitive) skills.
