What great fun we had learning about worms.
We set up our new worm farm all working together. First, we had to prepare the worm bedding.
We soaked the bedding in some water to turn it from a block to a soft bed, then the children helped break the block down.
We also put cardboard in the bottom of the farm so our worms can’t escape. When it was ready we added the worms to the farm.
The children loved looking at the worms and touching the worms, we know we must be gentle.
We look forward to feeding our worms and looking after them.
