Sonas Baldivis South – Colour Mixing! 

In our Pre-Kindy program this fortnight, we are focusing on colour mixing and primary colours.

We pulled out the light board and cellophane, and the children were observed layering the sheets on top of each other to make new colours.

One of the children put all the colours together, predicting that he would make a rainbow. He made it brown with rainbow edges and laughed to himself.

Another child was intrigued by the colour mix that made it purple, repeating this combination multiple times and smiling.

The children who were watching the experience were yelling out colours as they were made.
