This morning in the art room the children entered with paper laid out on the table and pencils in the centre. The children asked what we were doing this morning.
I explained to the children we will be drawing our families.
The children were super excited and chose their colours. They each drew their mums, dad, brothers and sisters. The children used their fine motor skills and some even wanted to write their own name on the back instead of myself.
The children shared the colour used pencils amongst themselves and spoke to each other about their families and how many people live in their home.
