This week the children at Sonas Bayswater read a large book about healthy teeth.

We learnt that babies are born without teeth, which eventually grow and then give way to wiggling baby teeth that are later replaced by adult teeth. Our discussion highlighted that teeth are primarily for biting food only. Following the reading, we practiced proper teeth-brushing techniques.

Objectives: Good oral and dental hygiene can help prevent bad breath, tooth decay and gum disease—and can help you keep your teeth as you get older. Establishing good oral hygiene and dietary habits have been proven to be essential to achieving and maintaining, overall physical and emotional well-being throughout life.
