This week the children of Sonas Bayswater sat down together, and we watched an educational video about personal space.

The video explained what personal space means, how we should respond if someone invades our personal space, and what we can say (Key Phrases). Some of those key phrases were “Stop! I don’t like it” “You’re in my personal space bubble” and “No” while holding their hand out straight.

We then had a group discussion about the key points in the video to really embed it in the children’s minds as well as practising saying “NO” while holding our hands out in front of us.

Objectives: They are learning their rights, learning to stand up for themselves and others, and what to do if they feel uncomfortable or unsafe.
