The children at Sonas Bayswater have been leaning all about the garden and how or look after it.

The children removed the old leaves from the garden and put some of the leaves in the compost bin. When we originally planted we planted a sunflower. Once it was fully grown the children picked the flower and dried the seeds ready to be planted again. The children watered the garden bed, made holes and added the sunflower seeds in.

Objectives: children experience the benefits of a shared learning experience, embed the practice of turn taking, develop increasing knowledge of and respect for the natural and constructed environment as well as becoming socially responsible and show respect for the environment.
