The children at Sonas Bayswater have been practicing using tongs by sorting pom poms into containers. They used pincer grip to close the tongs on the pom- pom and transfer it to the container. The children got excited when they completed the activity shouting I did it!
Objectives: further develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, encourage the experimentation of trial and error as well as practicing a life skill.
